Posted on March 25, 2011April 8, 2011 by John Nash

*I-FILE READY TODAY*

Thank you for being one of the nearly 2 million Hoosiers who filed electronically last year.

I-File-is available now to make filing your 2010 Indiana state taxes by April 18 easy and convenient! It’s fast, friendly and free!

In our annual survey, more than 97 percent of I-File users said they would recommend it to a friend or family member.

So if you liked I-File last year, tell a friend . . . tell a family member . . . pass it on!

We used this process the last two years — it is free. You fill in the tax form using a wizard on the IN.GOV web site and file for free. We run our federal taxes in H&R Block “At Home” software, then print the federal and state forms. We then use the information on the printed state form from our H&R Block “At Home” software to type in the numbers on the Indiana IN.GOV web site to spare us paying the $20 H&R Block “electronic submittal fee”.
