Zoom in Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot now works, sort of

Posted on November 18, 2011November 18, 2011 by John Nash

I updated Ubuntu software today with apt-get dist-upgrade and the Compiz eZoom feature now functions in Unity 3D. Reboot is required for it to take effect. It DOES NOT work in Ubuntu 2D.

See my prior posts on how to install Compiz. Set the Zoom In to Super + Button 4, Zoom Out to Super + Button 5, and Zoom Box to Super + Button 2. I logged in using normal Unity and everything except the launcher bar seems to zoom.
