Open Letter to Liz Brown, who is tasked with representing me in the Indiana Senate:
Dear Senator Brown:
SB203 effectively means almost ALL rifles would be illegal in Indiana: all have been “made or remade”, all use or could use center fire cartridges, almost all have some kind of rails to mount a scope or other accessory.
The US Constitution guarantees all citizens the God-given absolute right to defend themselves from all who would abuse them, illegal aliens, drug dealers, psychopaths, salvers who abduct our children to sell them for sex, violent generational social dependents, and even corrupt politicos. ANY law that limits or restricts (infringes) arms ownership or carriage by American citizens is null and void under Amendment #10. Police officers in Democrat controlled cities will know this but they will use “laws” as proposed in S.B.203 as an excuse to violate the law anyway by conducting home invasions to please their employers: people have recently been murdered in Virginia in this very scenario.
We already have laws prohibiting murder, robbery, and other violent crimes: criminals ignore those laws. Criminals by definition do not obey our laws, including gun control and “red flag” laws that criminalize a citizen based upon what someone imagines they might possibly do. The only thing laws such as this can do is set up law abiding citizens to be murdered.
