OS & Browser Stats

Posted on August 11, 2014August 11, 2014 by John Nash

Screen cuts of the Google AdSense stats from two of my several web sites. None of the sites are advertised or targeted at any particular browser or OS. The accesses are mostly random as people search for information on the web and locate some little tid bit of interest on one of my web sites. Apparently Linux is being used to access my sites more than Windows or iOS, and Chrome is being used more than FireFox, Safari, and IE.

Apparently once Linux users find my site they return later: 74% of Windows users are visiting for the first time. 58% of the OS in use was measured as Linux, with only 34.63% being Windows. I do post technical information about configuring Linux on jdnash.com, however the content of alt-fw.org is about employment and social concerns. Both are showing Linux more than Windows. Odd.
